22 to October 24, Pedro Domingo Martinez and I were watching amphibians and reptiles of the provinces of Ciudad Real and Toledo.

The first place we visited was the Laguna del Rey, near the village of Ruidera in Ciudad Real. We spent half an hour and saw only one Iberian lizard (Podarcis hispanica

).

perezi) that almost certainly would have died if we had left in the village. Interestingly, all we saw were small newt.

the evening we went to the Laguna de Caracuel to drop to amphibians collected in the village.

On Saturday we went to the province of Toledo, specifically the "El Borril" near the town of Poland, to attend a course in herpetology given by two members of the AHE (Ayllon and Pedro Luis Enrique Hernandez .) During the day, the farm is allowed to see several Iberian lizards (Podarcis hispanica

).
