Northwest Central System: Sierra de Gredos and Peña de Francia

the 9th of August I by the Sierra de Gredos. One of the species most caught my attention was the lizard carpetana (
) and dark green lizard (Lacerta
schreiberi ), endemic to the Iberian Peninsula and found mainly by the Central System and northwest of the peninsula. During the trip I made from the parking platform to the Laguna Grande de Gredos saw: - 87 lizards carpetana ( Iberolacerta cyreni ) - 2 dark green lizards (Lacerta schreiberi
