Monfragüe Jerte Vale Hi all
15 to April 20, the group "evicted Naturalist" (old workshop nature of Cartagena) we walked through several natural areas of Extremadura. Our main objective was birds, but at times also we looked at the area herpetic.
Two places we visited with a good variety of herpete were Monfragüe and Jerte Valley.

In Monfragüe saw 12 species of herpete: viper snake, terrapin, newt, lizard tailed, common frog, frog southern salamander, common gecko, common toad, natterjack toad, newt newt Iberian and pygmy.

Jerte In the Valley saw: long-tailed lizard, lizard Iberian common lizard and frog. We also found a salamander adult common, unfortunately hit.
